ASPMultiChat .NET is a HTML chat software. It's compatible with the most popular modern browsers like Internet Explorer 5.5+, Netscape Navigator 7+, Opera 7+. No client-side Java-applets, Plug-ins or ActiveX needed. Server-side part of software is written in C#. Client-side part written in Java Script and uses DHTML features of browser. Client-side scripts use sofisticated algorithm to provide continues, non-flickering refresh of chat board. The source code contains no web.config, global.asax or other special configuration files that would conflict with your existing web site code. To give you a look at other ways to write ASP.NET code, code behind wasn't used. A huge percentage of the code is contained in C# class libraries that implement the System.Web.UI.Page class along with basic HTML in the standard .aspx or script only pages.
